fifth blog

today i finished the main story of homestuck. i have so much that i still want answered and i dont really know what to do but thats why theres other stuff like beyond canon and the paradox space comics speaking of which i read all of those too and have realized the ultimate irony of me always thinking that i feel like karkat a lot after reading the summer camp one. this comic is just that summer camp comic but im not even good enough to have a bunch of real life friends to put in it so i just have to put characters from media i like in it and this realization has made me pretty sad but there are some other things i want to talk about here like clarifying something that should probably be stated somewhere else with a bit more importance or visibility but i dont really have something like that currently so im just gonna put it here: this series is entirely from the perspective of pYMxolbo. although the animated parts will do cool camera stuff so those kind of dont count but if it is not actively from his perspective at any point then that means that it is something that was told to him. this is also a convinient excuse to explain why hes usually the best drawn thing in most scenes since obviously he would remember himself the best in most situations. but yeah any like exageration (idk how to spell that word :P) of like his cool factor is solely because thats how he sees it. like in page 20 obviously parkour villain isnt that hostile but thats how it feels to pYMxolbo since there is some actual hostility due to p.v. being a lot more "hot headed" in this series than in parkour civlilization. also i made a realization that is pretty lame and that most boss villains unfortunately can be fit into the "seven deady sins" theming and i despise that trope so much but thankfully i dont think the number of bosses is 7 so that means it wont work since if its less than seven than theres not enough of them and if its more than some of them just dont get a cool role and thats lame. i have just been dwelling on my thoughts about homestuck after finishing it and its just really sad because it felt like it could have gone on so much longer and i guess i just didnt want it to end. also there is a very strange problem i have noticed where i feel like nobody can accurately say how many chapters of homestuck there are??? like on one of the pages near the end it said it was in the 9000's but on an official page for the comic it said it was nearing 7000's but it ends at like 8.6k~ im pretty sure. not opening the unnoficial collection to check that tho. i guess i can just leave my biggest questions here for now and hopefully they will be answered with some of the media that occurs after the main series ends (just remembered i also looked at all the snapchat memories so im saying that here too):

• what is skaia?
• whats the deal with the claymation scene? why did that not take place? was it just a doomed timeline that was shown in that cloud or was it retconned by john?
• how many classes are there??? this one is more of just like wondering about different scenarios but i can only think of a few named class types off the top of my head and i want to know them all
• did all of the outer ring get destroyed in that fight? you cant really tell during the credits photos but it looks pretty messed up so i am really wondering about that
• sollux just like in general really is a very confusing guy
• whats the little broken off square in the homestuck symbol for? does it like represent how john has fourth wall breaking powers or is it just to look cool
• did lord english actually die? i dont think we actually get to see it on screen
• why is the andrew guy even in the story at all? just seems like he didnt really end up doing much at all especially since i doubt he was actually the one to upgrade spades slick with the cyborg stuff
• why is the original spade (the dog one) not like in prison or whatever at the end of the story? did they just let him leave after did all of that? find that kind of hard to believe especially for the trolls
• what is the deal with the capchalogues? thats just something that is never explained ever and is presumably a universal constant for some reason??? i mean i get that they are presumably made by the same people who made sburg or sgrub or whatever but like then that just leads back to the first question of what is skaia
• do trolls just not have noses????
• gnome romance thing that is never brought up again even in the paradox space side story about the felt guys written by the author of the main story which i guess is more of just a frustration than anything
• dirk and jake just ended up working out anyways?? i thought like a key point towards the end was that it was an unhealthy relationship and that it was sort of implied john might be asexual or whatever the best term for that is??? i mean its not like a bad development it just feels like it goes against what was pre-established but maybe they just worked it all out during the timelapse
• first gaurdians???? in general???
• how did the crocker witch or whatever she was called manage to universe hop? thats very odd to me
• i guess the outer ring is also just very confusing because i dont understand why the dark gods would make the dream bubbles or who they are at all
• how do these time loops work? do they have to have like something that initially starts them to make the full loop or does the loop always happen before it starts? because there are some things that could definitely be loops that start and then end up looping and jake's last name is my main example for this because it could have just been that lord english would originally just call himself lord and adult jade didnt want to change her last name to lord since it would be logical to assume that the witch was just calling him lord out of remaining fear so adult jade would have just come up with something random and ended up picking english but then lord english ends up taking that so it creates its own time loop where no matter what jake is inevitably going to have a stupid last name. but then there is ectobiology which does not really make much sense with this idea of having something that starts a loop since all the protagonists would not exist if they did not do the ectobiology but how could they do the ectobiology if they couldnt exist without it so i guess maybe it could start with parents doing it and sending their kids back in time since the game is meant for the kids or something but the parents are also always also ectobiologied so this creates a real issue of where do the protagonists come from at all??? it seems like they just suddenly exist without any real other attachments to their species
• why has not a single character ever actually cared that their entire world was destroyed? i think i would be pretty sad if i knew that earth was destroyed by meteors and that the only people to survive would be my *hypothetical* friend group and their immediate relatives except usually those relatives also almost always die but sometimes they dont its all just very strange
• i cant really think of any more questions currently but i will probably have more and just know that i wrote all of this instead of making any more pages for this comic in the time it took which is very cool of me since nobody goes to this page

fourth blog

hello today i did not make any new pages and also didnt yesterday but i did make ad iscord server i wanted to make a forum-type page on here but thats really hard actually so i just decided to be lazy and make it on the discord there are many cool features of the discord you all need to chec kit out its really cool i dont really have anything esle to say today but hopefully more pages will be soon but i think i might have some sort of like mental blockage going on like im just sort of always a bit sad and have a headache and i got a hair cut today so that means it should go away soon hopefully yeah my hair is now shorter than it is in the comic but i am not chaning it because i like the comic design its awesome i guess thats about it tho talk to you all next time bye bye

third blog

been thinking about retiring the latest page thing on the opening site since i usually forget to update it also sorry for lack of new pages i just have been in an "odd" mental state for a little while now i guess where i can just barely work on any creative stuff and its extremely draining when i try but yeah page 26 is out now and i am kind of scared i am going through all of this a bit too fast but i guess the plot was originally made for an rpgmaker game so it makes sense that it would go by a bit fast as a comic hopefully some of my plans turn out to be more time-consuming and i can do the evil thing every comic does where the pacing is good if not a little fast in the beginning but then slows to a halt later on like that always really upsets me when that happens and it also always happens like have yall read stuff like that one manwha about some buff guy going to space and becoming a god i swear they are making it so horribly bland and generic on purpose it was so peak when it was in the space arc but i havent read it in a little while so maybe they made it good again but i dropped it around some sort of factory thing i think anyways yeah i do have the whole story planned out and also i dont think im gonna retcon anything or change any old pages besides from when i learn new html stuff to make them better like with the recent page names and how the comic started out not being centered and it kind of sucked like that yeah i also recorded like this sort of weird advertisement style audio for like a trailer for the comic its really bad but i might put a goofy video about the comic on my youtube so my slop-fueled subscribers can read REAL literature also i almost did a really stupid and edgy thing with this page by making the third blog just be "im sorry" like a bajillion times but i realized that was lame and didnt do that but that was yesterday i have also been thinking about dating these blogs but i do not remember the dates of the first two so i dont think that would work today is a saturday for me tho!! which means i should have drawn more comic instead of just play roblox all day but you know how it is i also havent shaved in like 2 weeks and am feeling kind of bad about that i think this is the longest blog so far and all i have been doing is rambling about nonsense that is barely related to the quest its whatever tho but as a final little thing please do keep in note that some inconsistencies across pages/panels are sometimes maybe intentional or at least noticed before posting but there are a lot which arent like the page before the cool animation was really sloppy and i hate it and might update just that one but also i think leaving it like that is probably for the best since i would have to change the whole thing to fit the build up to the anim actually you know what i said about retcons how about we retcon that because sometimes i guess i will probably start animations with cooler ideas than what the comic panels before it were leading towards because i am cool and awesome so i guess those could be considered retcons but maybe not really but the avoiding fourth wall stuff is very true and i plan on avoiding it until probably the final boss fight tbh the final boss is going to be very important and probably a bit personal because the main character of the comic is a self insert since im awesome and very original and did not read caliborns take on homestuck before making this so you cant say thats why i did it because it wanst im still actively reading homestuck and probably should have done so today since i would most likely be done with it by now anyways im ending this now since i will end up writing more words than i did my english essay if i just keep rambling but keep it sigma and rizz on fellow skibidis >BD

second blog

hi sorry for not making as many comics recently i have just kind of i guess not feeling the best mentally for reasons i cannot understand but yeah its been being made and i am currently writing this before adding the pages for the next few pages and its literally peak and i am very excited for the next arc since we will soon be leaving what i call the "demo arc" and entering the full pYMxolbo Quest experience™ but theres still a large amount of stuff to get through before then so keep your eyelids uncovered by sunglasses/hair for new updates that will usually be later at night on weekdays and generally just whenever on the weekends because a consistent schedule would genuinely suck the soul out of my body >BD

first blog

hello this is the first blog today i added pages 17-20 and 20 is very special and took like 3 hours i wanted to spend more time on it but i was kind of losing interest near the end also i only noticed after uploading but i forgot to color in a part of a character on 19 lmaooo yeah i wish neocities supported mp4 but it doesnt so i had to use a youtube embed the music is from yokai watch and its also very cool it was also originally gonna be in 24 fps but then i realized my brain only wants to animate in 12 so i had to do 12 dont really have much else to say but i guess i might do some more pages today if i finish my homework and stuff posting this at like 4 pm so it might not happen but who knows maybe i could do a hundred pages!!!! just kidding that would be a lot of work :P
